The Union 9500 is a pencil produced in the 1953–90s.
It's a 20-70-year-old vintage pencil.
Union is now a missing Japanese brand.
In 1953, I was allowed to mark the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard).
I marked it on my pencil.
The design with a reddish-brown barrel and a black band.
Similar to Mitsubishi's Uni pencil.
with 2B hardness of deep depth
It's not as soft as it gets.
You can feel the sharpness of the writing.
The (old) JIS mark is marked on the pencil and the package.

I marked it on a pencil.
As pencil industry technology stabilizes
It doesn't show since the late 1990s.
