The Faust 476 is a vintage pencil that is now discontinued.
KOH-I-NOOR is now a representative Czech stationery brand with a history of over 230 years.
Founded in 1790 by Joseph Hardtmuth in Vienna, Austria.
The original company name was L.&C. It was HARDTMUTH and initially produced earthenware.
In 1848, the factory moved to České Budějovice, located in the southern part of the Czech Republic.
In 1888, the yellow pencil KOH-I-NOOR 1500 began to be produced in 17 hardness levels.
The KOH-I-NOOR 1500 was a great success at the 1889 World's Fair in Paris.
After being exhibited at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1893,
It has enjoyed explosive popularity worldwide.
